On Thursday morning, December 11, 2025, Wissem Ben Ameur, founder of Liberta Travel and Tourism, officially launched the second edition of the Liberta Umrah Exhibition at the Tunis Convention Centre. The event opened to an impressive public turnout, with halls and corridors filled from the early hours, reflecting strong nationwide interest. The opening ceremony was attended by prominent figures from various sectors, including Majed Al-Gharsalli, CEO of Zitouna Bank, Mansour Al-Khater, CEO of Ooredoo Tunisia, Mostapha Al-Anabi, Regional Director of the Accor for Makkah and Madinah, Foued Morsi, CEO of Marassi Group, as well as Mohamed Alaa, Sales Director of Manaret Gaza Hotel. The exhibition quickly evolved into a vibrant, interactive space where visitors were able to explore Liberta’s journey of growth, discover its latest Umrah programs, and gain insight into ongoing efforts to enhance service quality. Attendees also had the opportunity to meet Liberta’s strategic partners from Makkah and Madinah, along with representatives from airlines, transport providers, and hospitality services. This second edition stood out for its exceptional promotional offers and exclusive discounts across a wide range of Umrah packages. Several attendees also won complimentary Umrah trips, making the exhibition one of the most attractive events for pilgrims planning their journeys for the 2025–2026 season. Reflecting the strength of its partnerships, Ooredoo Tunisia marked the occasion by offering three valuable gifts to attendees, symbolizing its strong engagement with the event. Accor Group announced the provision of three complimentary hotel rooms in support of this year’s exhibition, while Manaret Gaza Hotel contributed three rooms for pilgrims traveling during the holy month of Ramadan. Visitors also enjoyed live, immersive experiences simulating Umrah rituals within interactive booths, alongside religious talks and jurisprudential sessions led by specialists, aimed at simplifying the rites and answering pilgrims’ questions. With this successful second edition, Liberta firmly establishes itself as a key player in Tunisia’s religious travel market. Thanks to its high-quality services, diverse programs, and solid strategic partnerships, the Liberta Umrah Exhibition is now recognized as one of the country’s most anticipated annual events—signaling a bright and promising future for the Umrah sector in Tunisia.
